Ishikawa Prefecture is a long stretch located roughly in the center of the Japanese archipelago. The area is very diverse as it includes both coastal and mountain environments, as well as the agricultural plains. There are three regions in Ishikawa: Noto, Kanazawa, and Kaga/Mt. Hakusan.
