A theme park dedicated to "Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends" offers fantastic fun for all the family. With 10 different attractions, including full scale models of all your favorite engines, restaurants and coffee shops, this is not to be missed.

Thomas and his friends will be waiting for you and your little ones in Fuji-Q Highland at the very foot of the Mount Fuji. The whole park is very organized and clean with dozens of attractions and monuments. If you are visiting Japan with your kids, take them there, they will thank you for it.

The park is directly accessible by train from Tokyo. The whole trip will take you about two hours and the train passes by scenic areas of Japan and beautiful countryside. A great change from the buzzling city and some welcomed fresh air for your children.

When you arrive to the station, head directly for the nearby gate (ideally early in the morning) and ask for a map at the ticket counter. A colored line will take you directly to the Thomas Land section and saves you precious time within this massive amusement park.

Again, Thomas Land is really designed for young children, especially those who love trains! (Don’t we all?) Take the time to drop by Knapford station and ride Thomas, Percy, James, even Harold the helicopter!
Of course, you will find themed restaurants and souvenir shops in the park. Get a souvenir there to keep an unfading memory of this amazing day.
