Notification and Apology Regarding Recent Fire Accident
This notification is in regard to a fire accident that occurred at about 6:15 am, August 18, in the designated smoking facility outside the first floor of HOTEL MYSTAYS PREMIER Akasaka (Akasaka, Minato-ku, Tokyo), operated by MYSTAYS HOTEL MANAGEMENT Co., Ltd.
Details about the accident, including the cause, are still under investigation by the local fire department. Immediately after the fire occurred, we evacuated all guests from the hotel, and with the cooperation of everyone involved, we were able to verify that no injuries or the like had occurred.
As for HOTEL MYSTAYS PREMIER Akasaka itself, although the smoking facility was partially damaged by the fire, the facility was isolated from the rest of the building, and the fire did not otherwise affect the operation of the hotel.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to guests, customers, and those in the vicinity. We remain dedicated to ensuring the safety and security of all who visit our facilities, and will continue to work together toward that goal in the future.
Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to your continued patronage.
