  • Twin Ring Motegi is a racing circuit, unique in having the two racing courses: an American-style oval course and a European-style road course.   • Oya Kannon Buddhist Temple

  • According to legend, Oyaji temple, with its rare main hall enclosed completely in a natural cave, was established by Kobo Daishi (the founder of the Shingon sect) in the year 810. Featuring a main 4 meter high statue of the "Thousand Armed Kannon" carved into the face of the rock wall, Kannon statues (known as Oya Magaibutsu) are designated as a National Special Historic Site and Important Cultural Property.
