ACROS Fukuoka is a community complex with a beautiful green roof. The complex consists of a symphony hall, a gallery, a convention center and other facilities.
The canal was built offshore to fill in the Taisho era. Approximately 1140m long and has a width of about 40m. Otaru was a vestibule leading to the outside of the Hokkaido exploitation, and many goods collected and distributed it a long tisme ago. Now, on the south of Otaru Canal is a 20m-wide walk way. There are many visitors who visit as sightseeing point most famous for Otaru.
The shrine is dedicated to Tokugawa Ieyasu (founder of the Tokugawa shogunate). Brightly colored buildings and wooden sculptures of various animals symbolize the beliefs, knowledge and philosophy of the time. The shrine pavilions were registered on the World Heritage List in December 1999.
