A tournament course that is rich in tradition while being close to city

This golfing club features a variety of course designs and tournament-quality maintenances

Keiyo Country Club is located in Chiba City’s Wakaba Ward, and from 2005 to 2009, it played host of the Crystal Geyser Ladies’ Golf Tournament. The traditional tournament course has given birth to an array of emotions over its history. This woodland course features a layout with wide fairways where you can tee off with as much strength as necessary. There are moderate ups and downs, and with the need for strategy to avoid the dense trees between the holes and the requirement for accuracy because of the variety in the course design from the second shot on, golfers from rookies to pros are sure to enjoy the challenge.

The course also includes training facilities with a 200-yard driving range and two natural-grass approach ranges of 80 and 40 yards. There is also a restaurant where you can enjoy authentic Japanese cuisine and taste a wide variety of dishes made with ingredients from all over Japan, carefully selected by the head chef. For those going by car, it’s about 7 minutes from the Omiya Interchange on the Chiba-Togane Road, or about 25 minutes from the Kaizuka Interchange on the Keiyo Road. If you are going by pubic transport, there’s a club bus from the east exit of Tsuga Station on the JR Sobu Main Line (it takes about 20 minutes). This golfing club will allow you to enjoy an elegant game of golf in an atmosphere so extraordinary as to make you forget that you’re close to the city.
