Ichihara Elephant Kingdom houses more elephants than anywhere else in Japan. Chiba Kodomo no Kuni Kidsdom has an abundance of attractions, activity programs, and events that’ll keep the young ones excited for the whole day. The Hoki Museum is the first museum in Japan dedicated to Realist painting. All of these can be reached by car in around 30–45 minutes. From Goi Station, three stations down the line from Soga Station, you can take the “Kominato Railway,” a local line that allows you to enjoy the tranquil outdoor scenery.
