Adventure World is a Nanki landmark destination, and is a theme park that allows visitors to pet some animals. The massive site spanning around 800,000m2 is home to 1,400 animals of 140 species, and houses the largest number of giant pandas in Japan. PANDA LOVE and the Breeding Center are breeding centers that aim to breed and raise rare animals. These centers are fully equipped to provide a comfortable living environment to the giant pandas year-round, and give visitors the chance to see the pandas up close as they freely roam around to wide outdoor exercise grounds.
The park has a variety of other areas where you can meet animals of all shapes and sizes. In the Safari World, you can catch a glimpse of carnivorous animals such as lions and tigers, and herbivores such as reticulated giraffes, African elephants, and zebras roam about freely. Marine World offers the chance to take in dynamic performances by dolphins and whales, catch sea lion shows, and greet the penguins and polar bears. Other attractions include the Feeling Area, where visitors can get up close and pet the animals. The Play Zone has a number of other theme park attractions, including a Ferris wheel, roller coaster, and go-karts, that offers fun for adults and children alike all day round. The park also offers a wide range of dining options, with seven restaurants and food stalls on park grounds, some of which offer animal-themed menu options.
