The farm was founded in 1887 (Year of Meiji 20) as a dedicated milking farm and the farm continues with uncompromising concerns for quality as a dairy product manufacturer even after becoming a tourist farm. The spacious site covers approximately 300,000 m2 area, featuring a variety of attractions, in particular substantial attractions for interactions with animals.
Other than pony rides, visitors enjoy interaction with goats and sheep in the open area, as well as with rabbits, guinea pigs, ducks and others in the small animals area. Visitors may be able to see a calf in the birthing wing. There is a substantial assortment of experiential activities such as milking classes or duck racing. There is also a diverse range of other activities that everyone from children to adults can enjoy, including athletics, archery, putter golf, a fishing pond and the like.
There are also plowed fields in the spacious grounds, with experiential vegetable harvesting and flower picking on offer as special events. Visitors who wish to enjoy the park in a more active fashion may be interested in renting a Segway or customized bicycles for mountain bikes for cycling. A tour of the farm is provided on a tractor wagon, while a slow ride circling the flower garden is available on a trolley train. Soft serve ice cream made with milk produced at the farm, as well as pizza baked with home-made cheese is also available for visitors to enjoy. There is also a barbecue house, making the park a location for enjoyment to the fullest for the entire day.
