    We just returned home after staying at the hotel for two weeks and it was a very nice experience. The staff was absolutely amazing, they are so nice and also speak wonderful English. Thank you so much for welcoming us 🫶🏻 The room was small, yes, but if you're in Tokyo you'll not use it much anyway. It had everything that was advertised, yes it's a bit older, but very clean, we really had no complaints at all! Even an adapter for the outlet was included, which made sharing the one we brought even easier 😅 The bathroom is small, yes, but having the sink in the main room instead of the bathroom was actually very convenient and once again: everything was very clean! Having a washer and dryer in the basement was awesome! Easy to use (put some 100 yen coins aside!) and so convenient, we could basically fly home and put our clean laundry straight in the closet 😅 The location was great,so close to both Kuramae station and Asakusa station, we never had to ride the trams or metro for more that 20 minutes. The sumida river close by was beautiful, the view from any of the bridges was amazing ❤️ There are lots of konbini near by as well as very good restaurants! The ramen joint across the street is delicious and the owners so nice! Some people wrote that it's pretty loud outside with a fire station being so close by, but I felt like that was just normal noise like in any other city and I expected it to be much more busy honestly, it was overall very calm and comfortable outside ❤️ The one small thing I didn't like were the pillows, they were pretty hard (the mattress as well, but I enjoyed that). I'm sure that's just a difference in general, we went to a pricier hotel in Osaka for a few nights and it was (almost) the same with their pillows. So I'm guessing that's just a cultural difference and next time I know I'll bring a little pillow of my own just in case 😅 I would recommend this hotel immediately and we'll gladly return, thank you all so much! ❤️

    I love how quiet and peaceful here. Though there’s no cleaning service, you can ask for daily towels nad sheets. The hotel is affordable. I love that we can see the skytree from the hotel

    Standard service, and slightly worn out rooms; the location more than makes up for the downsides. There's a laundromat on the first floor so packing light is a worthwhile option while staying here. Would consider staying again as the price is also quite nice.
