We would like to announce that three hotels in Spa Resort Hawaiians (location: Iwaki City, Fukushima Prefecture) have been added to the MYSTAYS Hotel Group.
Spa Resort Hawaiians opened in January 1966 as the Joban Hawaiian Center. This mega leisure facility was designed on the theme of the “Island of Dreams, Hawaii” - the number one overseas destination of Japanese people at that time. It was built using underground hot springs water in that area, during the time when the coal industry was declining. In March 1990, the name was changed to the current Spa Resort Hawaiians. This facility will celebrate the 60th anniversary of its founding in 2026.
We have added three hotels within Spa Resort Hawaiians to the Group: Hotel Hawaiians, a hotel which has a long history with the water park since its opening; VIR PORT, a concept hotel that is a fusion of a Mediterranean Riveria Resort with Hawaii; and Monolith Tower, a hotel designed on the theme of Hawaii and a Spa Resort.
