HOTEL MYSTAYS Hiroshima is a sophisticated accommodation located near the bridge that crosses over to the Peace Memorial Park. Situated close to the heart of Hiroshima city and its bustling shopping and entertainment areas, the hotel is an extremely convenient base for both tourism and business. It takes about 70 minutes by limousine bus from Hiroshima Airport to reach the hotel. You can also access HOTEL MYSTAYS Hiroshima from JR Hiroshima Station by the Hiroshima Electric Railway “Hiroden” streetcar (about 25 minutes) and by bus (about 15 minutes). It only takes 2 minutes to walk to the hotel from the nearest streetcar or bus stop, so it is very accessible by public transport.
Once you pass through the hotel’s entrance, you will be greeted with a spacious and open lobby area. The guest rooms have a calm and relaxing atmosphere, and superb views of Hiroshima city. The Park View Room has sweeping views of the Peace Memorial Park, and the River View Room overlooks the Motoyasu River. You can enjoy gazing at the cherry blossom trees from these and other hotel rooms during spring. We hope you will enjoy relaxing in your comfy room, while enjoying the beautiful scenery of Hiroshima. Guests who use a wheelchair can also enjoy a comfortable stay at HOTEL MYSTAYS Hiroshima. We have universal-design rooms equipped with a booster seat in the bathroom, and hand rails attached around the room.
HOTEL MYSTAYS Hiroshima Peace Park is also a convenient base for sightseeing. The Peace Memorial Park is only a short 2-minute walk from the hotel. This park was established to commemorate the victims of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima City, and with wishes and hope for peace in the world. Another popular sightseeing spot is the World Heritage Site Atomic Bomb Dome, which is also located within the park and an 8-minute walk from the hotel. HOTEL MYSTAYS Hiroshima is also well located for accessing Hiroshima Castle, which is a 15-minute walk from the hotel. Built during the end of the Warring States period of Japanese history (approx. 1467-1615), the restored castle keep is now used as a historical museum. The bustling shopping and entertainment areas of Hiroshima are also within walking distance, so it is easy for you to feast on oysters and many other foods sourced from the Seto Inland Sea. You can also try local delicacies like Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki, which is a savory pancake containing meat, seafood and vegetables. For a slightly longer day trip, why not visit one of Japan’s three most scenic spots, Miyajima of Aki. It takes about 60 minutes from the hotel to reach there by the Hiroden streetcar and ferry. With its gigantic O-Torii shrine gate that appears to float on the sea and mystical Shinto shrine, Itsukushima Shrine on Miyajima is a must-see place when visiting Hiroshima.
