Ishikawa Prefecture is a long stretch located roughly in the center of the Japanese archipelago. The area is very diverse as it includes both coastal and mountain environments, as well as the agricultural plains. There are three regions in Ishikawa: Noto, Kanazawa, and Kaga/Mt. Hakusan. Noto region has preserved many of Japan’s old natural landscapes, while Kanazawa is home to many preserved cultural cityscapes. Kaga and Mt. Hakusan, one of Japan’s Three Most Famous Mountains, provide a variety of mineral-rich hot springs, sourced from Mt. Hakusan.
