Senbonmatsu Farm is home to some 500 cattle, grazing on a vast farm with the land area of 178 Tokyo Domes. The cattle reared here are exceptionally healthy, as strict care is taken with everything from the fodder and grass used for feed to even the soil from which the grass is grown. And of course, there’s the delicious fresh dairy products for which Senbonmatsu Farm is famous. You can enjoy a range of dairy products, from 100% pure milk that has been pasteurized at a low temperature for 30 minutes (65°C), to smooth and rich yogurt, and ice cream with its rich flavor. You can even try your hand at churning your own butter using unpasteurized Senbonmatsu milk.
The vast farm grounds are home to many facilities that the whole family can enjoy. The “Dobutsu Fureai Hiroba” is a petting zoo where you can interact with roughly 120 land animals of 14 different species and 80 birds of eight different species. You can even take a walk around the area with a dog, sheep, or goat on a leash. The dog running ground has an area of 1,200 m2, all natural grass, and is great fun for all dogs, big and small. Other activities include cycling, horseback-riding, archery, bungee trampoline, putter golf, and more! And when you’re all funned out you can enjoy a relaxing soak in the natural outdoor hot spring baths at Senbonmatsu Onsen or try the free foot bath. It’s also perfect for a relaxing time.
