    As others have comments is an older hotel. Don’t set your expectations too high and you’ll actually enjoy your stay. Was here for 3 days, 2 nights. The traditional Japanese room was excellent, the futon had great Support and everything was clean. Wife and I both slept well. Heat functioned well, the bathroom was dated but clean and functional. We’re also non smokers and were happy our room didn’t smell of smoke. We were told it takes about 5 min for hot water. We didn’t mind as we were there for the onsen. Wife and I both enjoyed Buffet breakfast and dinner with included drink bar. Alcohol was extra, and quite reasonable. I felt the food to be like comfort food. Wish we Could eat more as the food was so good. There was milk in the morning, was amazing. The natto was also excellent! The onsen was dated but still nice and clean. There is some mold on tiles but we didn’t care. We still enjoyed it and had All the amenities, soap, shampoo, conditioner, facial scrub, foot scrubbers, facial peals, skin cream, hair tonic etc… you also get free shuttle and access to 2 other sister locations which are higher end. They are Much cleaner but have less Amenities and full of mainland Chinese. Who have little manners. I’d rather stay at Daitokan as it’s mostly Japanese locals and very few Chinese. I’m Chinese but not from mainland china. I’m really ashamed of how mainland Chinese make other Chinese look with their horrible manners. Last note. You can pick out extra Yukata to wear aside from the ones provided in the room.
